Remember when Trump said Project 2025 wasn’t his plan?
And then he went ahead and appointed the guy who wrote the whole thing to lead it?
Yeah. I remember too.
Every American needs to understand what Project 2025 is trying to do to our country.
Because despite all the lies, this administration has followed their blueprint to a tee.
Don’t believe me?
Let’s get into it.
Project 2025 is not just a “plan” — it’s a full-blown political blueprint created by conservative think tanks, designed to completely restructure the U.S. federal government if a right-wing president takes (or retakes) office.
ACCOMPLISHED – Enter Donald Trump
And their goals aren’t subtle.
They’re radical, sweeping, and dangerous—especially for communities like ours.
The next two weeks—and all of May—are critical.
Once Congress finishes the Budget Reconciliation process, this administration will have the power to reshape this country in ways that will be almost impossible to undo. Because that is the plan. They specifically outline using these procedures to turn America into an authoritarian regime.
This is not hyperbole. We should all be terrified of what comes next. Because this administration lies.
Some people in my life have quietly expressed concerns about my rage.
My “fixation.”
My advocacy.
To those people, I say:
Where is your outrage?
Where is your advocacy?
Why aren’t you worried?
We are losing our country.
Minute by minute.
My daughter—my beautiful, brilliant daughter—is losing rights as we speak.
Her existence is being questioned.
Her life is being painted as a “drain” on America by this administration.
So yeah, I’m obsessed.
I’m raging.
I’m not going to apologize for it.
Because when the life of someone you love is on the line—you don’t sit quietly.
You fight.
And honestly?
I wish everyone else was obsessed too.
What Does Project 2025 Want to Do?
– Fire tens of thousands of federal workers and replace them with political loyalists.
20,000 (1 in 4 federal employees have been fired)
– Dismantle key federal agencies, including:
The Department of Education – in progress
The Department of Energy
The Environmental Protection Agency
– Privatize or gut social safety nets like Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security.
– End federal protections tied to civil rights, disability rights, LGBTQIA+ rights, and racial equity.
– Slash funding for scientific research, education, public health, and disability services.
– Shift power to the states—allowing states to cut critical programs without federal oversight.
– Destroy diversity, equity, and inclusion programs across all agencies.
– Enforce “Christian nationalist” principles into public policy, based on their language of “Biblical foundations” for governance.
What’s Their End Game?
Project 2025’s end goal is simple and terrifying:
– Consolidate federal power under an authoritarian presidency.
– Dismantle programs that protect and serve the most vulnerable.
– Privatize public systems—turning healthcare, education, and even civil rights into commodities.
– Rewrite America into a nation where only a select few belong—and everyone else fights to survive without support.
They aren’t trying to improve the system.
They’re trying to erase the very idea that we owe each other care, dignity, or justice.
If Project 2025 succeeds:
– Kids like Sienna will lose Medicaid access. Disability protections will no longer exist. Disabled people will be viewed as less than and unworthy of funding. RFK Jr. is already priming this rhetoric. Listen to the way he talks about folks with disabilities being a drain and burden on the government. He wants to completely discredit science and diagnoses. With him in charge, I am watching ableism become acceptable.
-IDEA and the ADA could be weakened or ignored. This is already happening. 7 of 12 OCR offices have been eliminated. Cases have been abandoned. I was even told on an advocacy call that disability complaints ONLY are taking precedent over race and minorities.
-Public education will become a voucher system that excludes disabled kids.Segregated schools will be a reality as the rest of kids use vouchers for private schools.
And the scariest part?
They’ve already started.
DOGE—the Department of Government Efficiency—is Project 2025 in action, cutting protections under the guise of “fraud prevention” and “efficiency.”
The Bottom Line
Project 2025 isn’t a “plan for later.”
It’s the playbook right now.
And if we don’t fight back—with our votes, our voices, and our advocacy—we stand to lose generations of progress.

Already happening: RFK Jr. appointed, DEI-targeted cuts.
